Xiaomi revealed a new smart speaker on Friday (15). Known as Xiaomi Smart Speaker IR Control , the speaker stands out for turning into a remote control to trigger commands from the television and other devices. The gadget still has Google Assistant and an LED panel to display the time.
The launch of the Chinese brand stands out for the remote control function. According to the manufacturer, the speaker has four infrared emitters to control devices that are not integrated into smart home systems. This is the case with older televisions and air conditioners, for example.
