Riot Games’ MOBA takes up space on your computer. Users can choose to remove it after getting tired of the title or to resolve issues and crashes.
Uninstalling League of Legends is an option for players who didn’t like the title or who got tired after a while. In the following lines, learn how to perform the procedure, which may also be necessary to perform the reinstallation in case of problems and bugs. The various steps take a few moments on a computer with Windows system. It is worth remembering that the Riot Games video game was released in 2009. It helped popularize the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre and became one of the biggest hits in electronic sports.
How to uninstall League of Legends
Step 1. In the computer’s search bar, type “Control Panel” and click the icon to access it.
Step 2. Finding the right one will depend on how the icons will be displayed to you, but they are very similar. In the category view, search for “Programs” and click “Uninstall a program”.
In large icon view or small icon view, you should find the name “Programs and Features” instead of just “Programs”. Just click to access the next step.
Step 3. In the next window will be the list of all programs installed on your computer. Find League of Legends, right-click and select the only option: “Uninstall”.
Step 4. Normal uninstall does not delete all game files. You will need to manually remove some items from the location where the game was installed. The folder will be named “Riot Games” and, if it was not modified at the time of installation, it will be on your computer’s C: drive. Just go there and clean up the remaining files. If your goal is to reinstall the game, it is recommended that you restart your computer after this step, before installing it again.
